The Consulate General was established in 1991 with a consular district covering 12 provinces in northern Thailand, namely, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Mae Hong Son, Nan, Phayao, Phrae, Lamphun, Lampang, Uttaradit, Sukhothai, Phitsanulok and Tak. Northern Thailand is an important agricultural region with many tourist attractions. Northern Thailand and China enjoy geographical proximity, cultures affinity and close people-to-people bond. Practical cooperation in tourism, agriculture, energy, science and technology between two sides are increasingly expanding.
My colleagues and I are willing to work with people from all walks of life, to further strengthen mutual beneficial cooperation and enhance friendly exchanges between China and Northern Thailand, and contribute our efforts to the continuous development of China-Thai Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership.
We hope to serve and facilitate Chinese citizens and Thai friends and present you the panorama of China by providing the latest information on exchanges and cooperation between China and Northern Thailand through this website.
Thank you for your great support, and your valuable views and suggestion on our work will be most welcome and appreciated.
